EBetween Corsica, Haute-Savoie and Geneva, Jean-Michel Mattei crafts a world enriched by diverse cultures. Inspired by his roots and everyday life, he skilfully sketches colourful characters: the Corsican grandfather always ready to comment on the latest island news, the Savoyard who humorously observes the arrival of Parisians in Courchevel, and iconic figures from the world of gastronomy.

A master of voices and accents, he plays on current affairs, blending impressions, sketches and songs. Generous and incisive, Jean-Michel Mattei is establishing himself as one of the rising stars of the comedy scene. A rare and authentic show.

Who is Jean-Michel Matteï ?

Jean-Michel Mattei took to the stage even before he was born: his mother, an actress, had to interrupt a performance to give birth an anecdote that has remained famous within the family. From a very young age, he showed a talent for mimicry and singing, became a soloist in several choirs, including that of the University of Geneva, and performed in front of large audiences. At the same time, he pursued a career as a top-level basketball player, eventually making it into the French Under-18s team.

After studying psychology and psychomotor therapy, he devoted himself fully to the performing arts from 2003 onwards. A regular contributor to Les Grands du Rire on France 3 from 2009 to 2019, he now performs in France and abroad, notably with his one-man show A.O.C.
